Island Beach Resorts in Cebu, Philippines
As a worker in a travel and tours company, I've got to know more of travel destinations here in the Philippines and even in other countries. As I was fixing up the messy catalogs and travel brochures in the desk, I took a glance over these picturesque and exquisite places. It could be a nice topic for my hub. So, first must be first. I should start with my own country before going out elsewhere. Let's get to know more about Cebu first.
Cebu is often called "Queen City of the South" and the Seat Christianity in the Philippines. It is the oldest city in the country. Exploring the city, one encounters a rich historic past. Cebuanos, native people in Cebu, are extremely proud of their cultural and historical heritage. It has evolved into a highly urbanized metropolitan center which now serves as focal point of growth and development in Southern Philippines. Cebu has 6 cities namely; Cebu, Danao, Lapu-lapu, Mandaue, Toledo and Talisay.
Today, the island province leads in traditional and non-traditional exports and has the highest economic growth rate anywhere in the country. Likewise, recent indications pointed out that Cebu has become the country's most favorite tourist destination.
